Jade Derudder studied dance/choreography at the Tilburg Fontys Dansacademie, after which she did Drama/Direction (RITCS) and trained to be a teacher at the Antwerp Conservatoire. Jade dances/performs with various Belgian culture houses such as hetpaleis, fABULEUS, CAMPO, Villanella and KOPERGIETERY. Her solo performance ‘Panic at a lot of other places besides the disco’ (2018) tackles the subject of mental health in youngsters.
Apart from being a contemporary dancer/performer Myrte Vandeweerd is a nursery schoolteacher. She also trained as a dance/movement therapist. Myrte has performed/made several children’s theatre shows in Flanders.
Mirek Coutigny studied composition at the Ghent Conservatoire. As a composer, he has composed for various ensembles. Together with his ‘Headliner’ collective, he curated the ‘Voorwaarts Maart/En Avant Mars’ festival for three years. These last few years he has been using electronic and acoustic instruments to conjure up his own world of sound. A first record was followed by a live set with Jonathan Bonny (percussion) and Jolien Deley (cello), which won a young Belgian talent competition in 2019. ‘The Further We Ventured’, his second record, came out in 2020.
